Lake Sloan’s career path at Commerce took some unexpected turns. Starting as a Personal Banker in 2018, his goals evolved — and so did our support for his growth. Today, Lake plays a key role in welcoming new team members, becoming the first to show them how they can thrive within our team. As Lake puts it, "No matter where you are in life, I feel like you’re going to find your place here."

Empowering young minds to take control of their financial future. 💡 We welcomed Kansas City Public Schools juniors and seniors to learn about budgeting, credit and starting a business. Our team members also shared career paths and insights into life at Commerce. The workshop gave students a real world look at finances and skills they can use every day.

Our communities thrive when we look out for those who need support the most. That’s why we’re proud to work with Heat Up St. Louis, a vital nonprofit providing year-round help to Missouri and Illinois families struggling with utility bills.

Through our work with SAAB, we offer a mentorship program that provides valuable career experience for high school students in Springfield, Missouri. The collaboration is an investment in these future leaders, ensuring a bright future for our community.
